ETMC to cease inpatient services in Gilmer, Mount Vernon hospitals


East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System announced Thursday it will discontinue inpatient services at its hospitals in Gilmer and Mount Vernon while continuing to offer clinics and other services at the facilities. ETMC also has informed the hospital authority in Clarksville that it will not renew its management lease for the hospital there when the current contract expires in 2016.  More>>

MCSO: HPD officer busted with kilo of cocaine and 6-year-old son in backseat


A Houston Police officer is off the job after authorities say she was caught with a kilo of cocaine. Federal agents and deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office allege that Jasmine Renee Bonner brought her 6-year-old son along for the drug deal. More>>

LONGVIEW (KYTX) -The Longview Police Department is seeking information regarding an early morning shooting Saturday.The Police Department says the shooting happened after a party at this Guest Innon North Access Road next to Interstate 20.
