Gillian Sheridan was born in England and immigrated to the United States as a young girl with her family.  At the age of 12, she became an American citizen. Chuck says he knew what he wanted to do in life when he was six years old.  That's when he saw his first television newscast and understood it.  He is returning to television for the Six and Ten O'Clock news Monday through Friday after spending 5 years as a Wall Street financial advisor.  Chuck is back on the front lines of daily events and reporting what people are doing. Lisa Spooner

Although Lisa considers herself a Texan, she spent a decade of her childhood growing up overseas. She was born in England but before she was 6 weeks old, her family moved to the Island of Borneo. She then proceeded to spend 10 years in different countries in Southeast Asia. More>>

Bryan Houston

Bryan Houston is moving to the morning newscast at CBS 19. He comes to KYTX after two years as the morning anchor at KLTV. Bryan has been on the air in East Texas for 24 of the last 28 years. More>>

Meghan McDermott

Native Texan and proud University of Houston Cougar Meghan McDermott is anxious to kick her heels up in East Texas.  The journalism bug bit Meghan at a very young age. Her fascination with the news led to a number of opportunities that would only strengthen her interest in the profession. More>>

Michele Reese

Michele Reese is an Emmy award-winning reporter and the co-anchor of CBS 19 news at 5.  Michele joined the station in 2006 as the weekend anchor and reporter. Since she began, she has covered several national stories including, the Henderson County Deputy Shootings, the Rains County Triple Murder, and the Closure of Tyler's Goodyear Plant. John Adams

Born and raised in Henderson, John had a head start on observing East Texas weather patterns. Five weeks after graduating from Henderson High School, he reported to the United States Air Force Academy outside of Colorado Springs. More>>

Scott Fossey

Scott has been sharing weather forecasts with East Texans since 1992. He grew up in "tornado alley" - on a farm near Wichita, Kansas. Fossey "lived" severe weather in Kansas, having the opportunity to get involved in weather as a storm chaser for KFDI AM/FM radio in the 1980's. He has a degree in Communications from Harding University and extensive training in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University. More>>

Doc Deason

Doc was born and raised in Tyler. He's a graduate of Lindale High School and a proud TJC Apache, as well as an alumni of the world famous Apache Punch Drumline. In addition to his degree from Stephen F. Austin State University he also received his Meteorology Certificate from Mississippi State University in 2001. More>>

Eric Sullivan

Eric Sullivan is the Sports Director for CBS 19 News. He comes to East Texas from Arkansas, where Eric was a Sportscaster for 9 years. One of Eric's main goals in TV news has always been to cover High School Football in the state of Texas and follow his favorite NFL team of all time, the Dallas Cowboys. That dream has now come true.
