The Cognitive Rehabilitation Program at Direct RehabMed is led by Ritesh Prasad, M.D. and Stephen K. Martin, Ph.D.  Dr. Prasad is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and has extensive experience in the treatment of brain injured individuals. More>>

Physical Therapy

Direct RehabMed's CARF accredited Physical Therapy department  is composed of licensed P.T.s and P.T.A.s who specialize in musculoskeletal and orthopedic injuries.  We emphasize the use of active therapeutic exercise and stability programs early in the patient's care in order to safely and efficiently prepare them for an independent home exercise program, and or a safe return to work. CARF is known as The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Faclities.  CARF was founded in 1969 as a not for profit organization, with the main purpose being to promote outcomes-based, ethical, and quality care in a number of rehabilitation arenas.  CARF accredits a number of programs, including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs, pediatric programs, spinal cord injury programs, brain injury programs, etc. More>>
