CBS 19 - The Eye of East Texas News - Initial Design Plans Approved for Griffin Elementary

Tyler School Board Trustees have approved the initial design plans for the new Griffin Elementary School.
The new two story school will be located next to Dogan Middle School and near the corner of Broadway and 28th street.
Griffin will not look the same as Jack Elementary as was originally proposed. The location and opening date was delayed after resistance from the community.
Griffin is expected to open in December 2010.
