Rodents of unusual size

Posted: Updated:

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (CBS) - The San Francisco Zoo has two new residents.  They look like giant guinea pigs.  But they're actually capybaras, the largest rodents in the world.

The zoo used to have some other ones, but they died of old age.

Capybaras are found in South and Central America.  And they love the water.

These two are named Rosemary and Beryl.  They're two years old and full grown at 100 pounds.

The zoo might put them in an exhibit with the anteaters... if they get along.
