House of Israel Ties to the Taliban?

"If this man, in my opinion, is not a terrorist, I don't know the definition of terrorist," Police Chief Reece Daniel said.

Serious allegations against House of Israel leader Robert Fox.

"This man hates our government,"Daniel said. "He advocates disobedience of our laws and has a track record of violating them over and over again."

Daniel said the charges against Fox stem from information seized from the House of Israel, during a raid in May.

Police found documents they say prove Fox has ties to the Taliban.

During a press conference Detective Jason Price said, "basically he's saying I would like to represent this terrorist who was caught in the service in a foreign country in a terrorist organization."

The court document outlines a defense strategy for convicted american Taliban member John Walker Lindh.

Lindh was captured during the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan while fighting for the Taliban.

But police cannot confirm if the document was ever filed in court.

"The mere preparation of it is what alarms me," Price said.

Fox's thumb print and signature are on the court brief, and police say he's tried several cases without a license.

"He's a dangerous individual," Price said. "He does need to be in custody."

Jacksonville police are not the only ones looking for Robert Fox. Police say he is also wanted in Ozark County, Missiouri and Winnepeg, Canada. Police believe he could still be in Jacksonville, or may have moved onto Austin.

Price said his department has solicited for assistance from the federal government. "But to this point we've gotten a luke warm response," he said.

They hope that will change. Before this possible link to terrorism, turns to acts of terrorism.
