Clint Yeatts - Anchor CBS 19 This Morning
Clint joins our news team as co-anchor of CBS 19 This Morning. With more than 30 years in broadcasting, Clint is one of the most experienced journalists in all of East Texas.
Over his career Clint has been recognized numerous times by his peers for his journalistic accomplishments. Clint has won three Emmys, two for morning news broadcasts and one for his anchor work for continuing live coverage of the shootings at the Smith County Courthouse. The Headliners Club in Austin named Clint as one of the best feature writers in Texas. The Associated Press Broadcasters has chosen Clint as "Best Reporter," "Best Spot News Coverage," "Best Documentary" and "Best Newscast." The Excellence in Media Foundation in Los Angeles awarded Clint with their "Silver Angel" six different times over the years for producing stories with the "highest moral, spiritual, ethical or social impact." The PGA Association of North Texas has twice honored Clint with the "Bob Galt" award for excellence in sports reporting. Clint is also publisher for the annual high school preview magazine "Pigskin Preview."
Over the years Clint has volunteered his time and efforts to many community organizations, projects and events including the East Texas Food Bank, Living Alternatives, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and The United Way of Tyler. Clint served as a member of the school board and school board president at Tyler's Grace Community School.
Clint and wife Shana have three children. They attend Tyler's Grace Community Church. Clint enjoys spending time with his family, attending his children's sporting events and playing a little golf when time allows.
