The Longview Rodeo is almost here! The event, presented by the Longview Greggton Rotary Club, begins at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at the Longview Rodeo Arena located at 100 Grand Boulevard (beside Maude Cobb Convention Center).

Tickets can be purchased here, and will be available at the Will-Call window for pickup, or they can be purchased at Cavender's, ABC Auto, Jake's Feed, and Boot Barn.

  • General admission - $12 in advance, $15 at gate for adults
  • General admission - $5 for children ages 3-12
  • Reserved seat tickets - $20 in advance, $25 at the gate

The Longview Rodeo will feature bull riding, bronco riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, calf roping and the featured performance of the Bobby Kerr Mustang Act, which was nominated in the top 5 PRCA Specialty Act of the Year.

Activities for the children both nights will include Mutton Bustin', sponsored by Texas Eastman, and Stick Horse Racing, sponsored by Cavender's.

Friday night is "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" to support breast cancer awareness, sponsored by Texas Oncology, and Saturday night sponsors are Miller Lite and Peters Chevrolet.

Proceeds of the rodeo benefit Habitat for Humanity, Women's Center of East Texas, Heartisans Marketplace and Parenting Resource Center of East Texas.
