Bob Mauldin's career as a DJ and television host over the past 20 years led him to his latest endeavor as a country music artist.

Mauldin made a living as a radio DJ and programmer and hosted shows such as Expedition Texas, all while writing songs, and in 2001, Texas Rose Records released his "Cowboy Super Hero."

The single "Redneck Rebel" was released in 2008 due to a positive response at Mauldin's shows and was played on Texas county stations all over the state.

Mauldin's 12-song album dropped in 2011.
