Place the bacon jam, onion, breadcrumbs, parsley, chili powder and salt into a food processor and process for about 1 minute or until everything is uniformly chopped and combined.
Spoon bacon and onion mixture into large bowl. Add Italian sausage, ground beef and egg and stir to combine. Scoop out the meat mixture and roll into one inch balls using your palms.
Heat oil in large saucepan over medium heat. Place the meatballs into the saucepan and cook, turning every couple minutes to ensure all sides cook evenly.
Pour out excess grease. Add the barbecue sauce, broth and bourbon and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer and reduce to low. Let cook for 5 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through. Add the chocolate and stir until melted. Add more broth if the sauce is too thick. Turn off the heat and cover until ready to serve.
