One person was killed in a chain-reaction crash on Highway 64 Monday morning.
According to a preliminary crash report, troopers were called out to Highway 64 and County Road 4108 around 9 a.m.
The driver of a Honda was killed when a driver in a Chevrolet Tahoe rear-ended the Honda. The Honda and other cars were stopped for a flagman as part of a road crew working on the road.
The wreck caused a chain reaction that involved two other vehicles also stopped for the flagman.
The Honda driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The Tahoe driver and one of the other drivers involved in the wreck were sent to a local hospital for treatment.
No identifications have yet been released pending next of kin notification. This crash remains under investigation.
The area has been cleared and is reopened to traffic.
