Four people are in jail charged in connection with the August death of a Mount Pleasant woman that happened August 20.

Tammy Denise Jordan, 38, was hit by a stray bullet during an argument between two parties on the street that night, and police asked for the public's help in finding justice for her death.

Police took a step in that direction Monday, arresting 28-year-old Courtney Lenard McGill, 46-year-old Terry Heath, 24-year-old Rhett Davis, 32-year-old Laterrius Shine.

McGill was charged with murder and remains in the Titus County jail on a million dollar bond. Davis and Shine were charged with counts related to the shooting death and remain in the Titus County Jail on $65 million and $40 million bonds respectively.

Heath also remains in the Titus County Jail and his bond has not yet been set.
