Two local retailers are teaming up to help raise money for the Texas Wounded Warriors Program.

CHP Motorsports in Whitehouse restored a classic emerald-green Honda CT70 H KO motorcycle that is up for raffle through the end of July at BMW of Tyler.

The restoration includes:

  • Show-quality base clear coat paint job
  • Completely rebuilt and restored engine
  • New electrical, seat, handle bars, cables, tires, tubes, shocks, tailight brackets,
  • All new controls, chain and sprockets, muffler system and lighting

Restored value is $6,000.

The bike will be on display at BMW of Tyler through the end of July 2017, and the dealership will include one raffle entry for each purchase of a new or used vehicle.

After July, the bike will be on display at CHP Motorsports in Whitehouse at 14040 Highway 110 South, as well as appearing at various Texas Wounded Warrior Foundation events.

Tickets are $10 each and $100% of the proceeds will be donated to The Texas Wounded Warriors Foundation. Only 2,000 tickets will be sold, and the winner will be drawn on Oct. 2, 2017. Participants must be 18 years or older to enter and do not need to be present to win.
