A teen wanted for allegedly assaulting a disabled man turned himself in Wednesday, June 28 according to a press release from the Marshall Police Department.

The teen’s brother, 22-year-old Dillon Burr was also involved in the assault but did not turn himself in, as was initially indicated in the press release. Marshall PD sent a corrected release later Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities said video surveillance footage from a Chevron station at the 1000 block of East End Boulevard N. showed the teen hitting a disabled man and knocking him to the ground on Sunday, June 25 just after midnight.

A warrant was issued for the teen's arrest, charging him with injury to a disabled person which is a felony.

Dillon Burr is now wanted for the assault in addition to an unrelated charge of violating parole.
