Early voting begins tomorrow on a bond package worth over 39 million dollars that would serve as the first phase of a comprehensive road construction project.
According to Judge Nathanial Moran, it’s time to let the voters of Smith County decide whether they want their roads repaired.
“We have about 1200 miles of county roads that puts us at number 10 in the state among the 254 counties in the state for county road miles. That's a lot of miles to take care of,” Moran said.
In addition to the bond package, voters will have a chance to vote on 7 amendments to the Texas Constitution.
