BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas - A Bryan family is asking for help searching for a family member who went missing Nov. 13. The family says 38-year-old Mat Moore was last seen at Oaks Park in College Station.

"He looks happy and free there. Like a good person," said his sister, Denise Valero as she looked at a picture of her brother.

Moore's mother dropped him off at the park, located at Harvey Road and Stallings Drive, to play Frisbee golf. That was the last time anyone from his family saw him.

They now fear the worst.

"That he's not okay. That he did not leave town on his own," said Valero.

Valero has tried calling her brother's phone but it doesn't even ring. Family and friends say he's an actor with a big personality and a distinct style.

"He is hard to miss," said Lesley Henton, a family friend. "He has large piercings in both of his ears. He's got some tattoos. He does stand out."

And to not keep in contact with loved ones is not like him.

"Very unusual," said Henton. "He has never been known to just disappear without letting anybody know where he is."

Moore's family has filed a police report and College Station detectives are trying to locate Mat.

But with more and more time passing by, his sister hopes someone will come forward. And she has a message for Mat.

"Just send word that you're okay. That's all," said Valero.

Moore is 6'1" and weighs between 150 and 165 pounds. He also has tattoos on his neck and both arms and was last seen wearing a grey long sleeve shirt, jeans and work boots.

Anyone with information is asked to call College Station Police.
