An Athens resident called in a tip on Sunday night that led to the arrest of a Murchison man suspected of burglary.

Henderson County deputies received a tip that 19-year-old Travis Brax Davis was a likely suspect in a burglary, and was driving without a license. The deputies located and stopped the vehicle around 8:30 p.m. Sunday night and noticed Davis acting nervous when confronted about the license.

One of the deputies saw large knives near the driver's seat and asked the occupants to exit the vehicle. Upon further investigation inside the vehicle, deputies found drug paraphernalia as well as property that had been reported stolen from an RV park on Saturday.

Davis was arrested on drug and burglary of a building charges. He remains in the Henderson County Jail on $8,500 bond.

Two additional passengers in the car were detained, checked and released.
