The Workforce Solutions East Texas office in Canton is set to close on Dec. 22, 2017, citing reduced funds and low visitor traffic at the center.
WSET will continue to serve the area and is encouraging new and existing customers to receive service and other assistance through its call center, website or by visiting a mobile unit that will regularly visit the county.
According to WSET, their call center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and customers can speak directly to a caseworker by calling 1-844-389-6757.
The company has also expanded to include designated off-site locations through Moblie Workforce Centers, with two units currently navigating through the region.
