Hundreds of children attended a Christmas party in Longview.
It was hosted by Morgan Stanley for Buckner Children and Family at the First Baptist Church.
600 kids, 200 of them foster children or adopted children and their families came together for story time, caroling, and Santa.
It was the 15th annual Christmas party. Over the years more than 2,000 children have been able to experience Christmas at this party.
For the kids it's all about the balloons, gifts, and Santa, but for the parents, it's about connecting with other families who know what you are going through.
Connecting with the other parents, and being able to share stories with no fear of judgement.
"There's a lot of joy in fostering, but there is also a lot of heartaches and difficulties, and to have a community of people who have walked it, well it's just so much support." Mica Sterling said.
Sterling and her husband have children of their own, adopted children, and are currently fostering. They came to this event 3 years ago and have been coming ever since.
