TYLER, Texas - Less than three days before many pound the pavement for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Tyler. It's an effort to raise funds to end breast cancer.
Ahead of the race, CBS19 is highlighting those who have experienced breast cancer, or are working to help others overcome it.
Breast Cancer Co-Survivor, Guy O. Danielson, M.D. -- a neurosurgeon for more than four decades discusses Functional Medicine and how it can benefit breast cancer patients.
He also addresses the need to determine the underlying causes of disease.
