The Glass Recreation Center in Tyler is now offering a Spanish club for kids.The program is a fun introductory course for children to learn Spanish phrases that can be used in everyday situations.
Those classes are composed of games, hands-on exercises, homework, arts and crafts and music.
Glass Recreation Supervisor Ann Santana says learning a second language will help the children in the future.
Classes will be held at the Glass Recreation Center every Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The program runs through the first week of August and costs $25 per child.
