Rona Humpherey, a 52-year-old Jacksonville woman, was arrested on 43 warrants on Thursday after an investigation by the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office into credit card or debit card abuse.

According to authorities, from January 2016 to October 2017, Humpherey allegedly used funds, credit cards and debit cards belonging to a family member to pay for her own expenses, including vacations and gifts for others.

An extensive amount of financial documents were reviewed to reveal 42 charges of Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse and one charge of Misapplication of Fiduciary Property or Property of Financial Institution with a loss of over $45,000.

When authorities served Humpherey with her arrest warrants, she was found in possession of suspected "crack" cocaine and marijuana in the presence of a child.

Ultimately, Humpherey was charged with Possession of a Substance in Penalty Group 1, Possession of Marijuana and Abandoning or Endangering a Child as well.

Humpherey's total bond is set at $879,000.
