Right next door to Kayla Gomez-Orozco's family home, a powerful moment of prayer with the purpose to bring a very loved little girl home.

Ten-year-old Kayla Gomez-Orozco was last seen at her family's church in Bullard. Law enforcement believes Kayla is in immediate danger.

As of Monday night, there are no leads on Kayla's whereabouts.

Neighbor, Marissa Boerger, held a prayer gathering outside of her driveway.

"We really wanted to do what we could for our community.. and I thought, well we can pray... that's what we can do," she said.

Boerger said she used a community forum to arrange the prayer.

"I posted on there, and said 'Hey we're going to pray here on my driveway, we live next door to the Gomez family,' and it was a great turnout," said Boerger.

"If we can't be out there looking for Kayla we can be praying for her safe return," said Boerger.

Halfway through the prayer, Kayla's mother and family stepped out of their home to join the group.

Boerger's children are Kayla's classmates.

"The scariest thing is that we see this on the news and we say this is never going to happen to me," said Boerger. "But this could have been any one of our children."
