Over a month ago 12 kids set out on a mission to give back to other kids their age; children at the East Texas Crisis Center who don't have very many toys.

6-year-old Lucy Cozad came up with the idea for a lemonade stand after playing with the children and seeing they didn't have very many toys.

They have already had success from 6 sales and decided to go for one more

Today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. the lemonade stand was set up to raise the last $750 needed to reach the $10,000 goal.

The goal was reached Friday at 4 p.m.

A foundation in Dallas plans to give the crisis center an additional $10,000.

The money raised will go towards new toys and the beginning of a new play area for the children.

The boys and girls who helped with the lemonade stand will pick out those new toys for the crisis center.
