Billie Jo Sewell is a country and gospel musician from Dallas, Texas who graced our CBS 19 studio on Thursday evening for a special edition of Music Monday.
The Texas star is a true renaissance woman who sings, writes songs, clog dances and is a doting mother of three preschoolers and two stepdaughters.
Billie was raised by her grandparents who supported her dreams for as long as she can remember. She knows they are a blessing in her life calls them her "roadies" and biggest fans!
Her debut album was recorded in 2010 and has since won many singing and clogging competitions over the past several years, most recently winning the 2013 Texas Country Music Hall of Fame- John Ritter Showcase in Carthage, Texas.
Among Billie's influences are, Loretta Lynn, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and Reba McIntire.
Billie is currently on tour, with performances planned all across Texas.
