TYLER, Texas – If haunted houses and scary scenes are your thing, you don’t want to miss what organizers are calling one of the scariest attractions in Tyler.

Jericho's Tours of Tyler is partnering with Tonia and Steven Lenz to host The "Forest of Fear" which kicks off on October 6 & 7.

For this week’s “Tashara Travels” segment, we were able to get a sneak peek inside the forest to see what’s lurking on the trails.

“While creating the haunted trails, we tried to imagine everything that ever scared us and put it into the trail,” said one of the event organizers, George Jones.

“You’ll see dark fairies, zombies, serial killers and clowns among other things,” Jones added.

According to Jones, if you’re walking at a brisk pace, you should be able to walk through the entire trail in 45 minutes, but he says it’s better to take your time.

The “Forest of Fear” is located at 3125 CR-317, Tyler, Texas 75706 near the Tiger Creek Wildlife Refuge.
