UPDATE: The Tyler Police Department is searching for 20-year-old Zechariah Aacon Smith, of Tyler.

According to police, Smith is responsible for firing seven shots into the home on 1307 W. Queen Street on Thursday night.

Investigators have secured an arrest warrant for him and he is charged with Deadly Conduct.

His bond is set at $75,000.

Authorities from the Tyler Police Department are asking for help in finding Smith.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to call the Tyler Police Department at 903-531-1000 or Crime Stoppers at 903-597-2833.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to Smith's arrest.


Officers from the Tyler Police Department are conducting an investigation after several shots were fired just before 8 p.m. Thursday at a home on 1307 West Queen Street.

When authorities responded to the call and arrived to the scene, the home was found to be unoccupied.

The homeowners arrived at the scene at the same time as the officers and told them he knows who the suspect is.

Police were also advised by the homeowners that the incident is related to an earlier disturbance in the park between them.

Evidence was recovered and investigators talked to potential witnesses.

No one was injured during the incident and currently, no arrests have been made.
