One person was critically injured in a wreck at a busy Tyler intersection on Oct. 6.
Authorities responded to a two-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Highway 64 East and Spur 248 in Tyler. According to a DPS preliminary report, 49-year-old Leslie Fossey was attempting a left turn onto Spur 248 and turned into the path of a tractor-trailer driven by 57-year-old Tommy Stamm.
Fossy was sent to the hospital with critical injuries.
Stamm was not injured in the crash.
Crews are still on scene clearing the roadway, and ask that drivers use caution in the area.
This crash remains under investigation.
