Two Longview men were arrested for street racing on Saturday Apr. 16, 2017 just after 12 a.m.
Police arrested 31 year-old Victor Javier Estrada-Rodriguez and 20 year-old Luis Fernando Guerrero for racing on a highway and transported them to the Gregg County Jail without incident.
Longview officers said two Ford Mustangs traveled westbound in the 1700 Block of West Loop 281. The drivers of the Mustangs turned around in the intersection of West Loop 281 and Gilmer Road and began to drive side by side, accelerating in a competitive manner according to police.
Both Mustangs were towed to a local tow yard as a result of the driver’s arrests.
