Longview Police have identified the victims in Wednesday night's shooting, and one person is now in jail charged in connection with the homicides.
Officers were dispatched to an apartment complex Wednesday night on a 9-1-1 call and found two victims, 41-year-old Freddie Allison and 38-year-old Deandra Allison dead.
According to a Longview Police Facebook post, 21-year-old Christopher Bell turned himself in for the homicides. Investigators say Bell stated he was visiting the apartment to see his daughter, but was not allowed inside. Bell forced his way inside, fought with, then allegedly shot both victims before fleeing the scene. Bell then contacted police to turned himself in.
Police arrested Bell without incident in a parking lot of a store on Estes Parkway. Bell remains in the Gregg County Jail charged with capital murder on a $2 million bond.
