A homicide suspect identified in the pool hall shooting from Wednesday evening has surrendered to police.

Aquinas Lamar Dixon came to the Tyler Police Department and surrendered to arrest.

Dixon had a murder warrant issued for the death of Earnest Dennis, who died at a hospital after a shooting at Pool Hall Domino Club Wednesday night.

Dixon will be booked into the Smith County Jail on a $1,000,000 bond.



Police have named a suspect in the late-night shooting at a Tyler club that killed one person.

Aquinas Lamar Dixon is suspected of shooting Earnest Dennis last night at the Pool Hall Domino Club on West Morris Street. Dennis later died at a local hospital.

A warrant has been issued for Dixon. He is considered armed and dangerous and last seen driving a 90's to early 2000's black or dark-colored Jaguar with paper tags.
