A Smith County grand jury handed down three indictments on a suspect in connection with a shooting that injured a 13-year-old Tyler child.
Kadareawn Mosley 19, was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of theft of a firearm. One of the indictments stem from an incident on July 20, in which police say Mosley shot five rounds into a house on McDonald Road, injuring a 13-year-old child.
Police believe that the shooting was in retaliation for a shooting at Fun Forest park on July 8 where Mosely was a victim.
The second aggravated assault with a deadly weapon indictment is for a shooting on Nutbush Avenue on July 25 over money and narcotics.
Mosley remains in the Smith County jail on bonds totaling over $600,000.
