“Harvey Can’t Mess with Texas” is the title for a star-studded benefit concert that’s set to run from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin.

Throughout the afternoon/evening prior to the concert, we will be showing celebrity interviews, and live shots from the venue before the concert begins.

The concert benefits the Dell Foundation’s Rebuild Texas campaign. Michael Dell, the leader of the tech company, is from Houston and donated $36 million to Harvey relief efforts.

Twelve Tegna-owned television stations in Texas, including KYTX CBS19, will air the concert live from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday across all platforms.

Performers include:

Willie Nelson
Paul Simon
James Taylor
Bonnie Raitt
Leon Bridges
Lyle Lovett
Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats
Edie Brickell & New Bohemians
Ryan Bingham

The evening will include special appearances by Matthew McConaughy, Dan Rather, Renée Zellweger, Luke Wilson, Austin Mayor Steve Adler, Houston Chief of Police Art Acevedo and many more. Charlie Sexton will serve as Music Director, with Asleep at the Wheel sitting in as the house band.
