The Friends of the Palestine Public Library’s next sale is Friday, July 14 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, July 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. inside the Palestine Mall at 2000 S. Loop 256.
Thousands of books will be available, from $1.50 for hardbacks to ten cents for small romance novels.
On Saturday from 2-3 p.m. customers can pay $5 to fit all the hardbacks they can get in a plastic sack, and $3 for all the paperbacks they can fit into a sack.
Dozens of categories will be on sale including fiction, science fiction/fantasy, romance, westerns, biographies, art, cook books, travel/geography, humor, Texana, reference, foreign language, medical/health, religious/spiritual, self-help, children’s, science, gardening , true crime and a wide range of general non-fiction.
A free table will also be available.
Most of the books were donated by private individuals and come from the library’s holdings.
Cash, credit cards and local checks accepted and all proceeds will benefit the Palestine Public Library.
