CYPRESS - The San Augustine football team is having one of their best seasons in school history. The Wolves were 14-0 and in the state semifinals for the first time since 2003.

Unfortunately, that's where they ran into Refugio. The Bobcats are the defending 2A Division 1 state champs and they've been playing some outstanding football recently.

San Augustine was able to keep this game close for awhile, punching in a touchdown in the 2nd quarter to cut the Bobcats lead to just 1.

But after that point, it was all Refugio. Over the final 2 and a half quarters, they outscored the Wolves by 41 points and they would go on to pick up the 63-21 win.

San Augustine ends their season with a record of 14-1.
