The UT Tyler basketball programs played for a great cause on Saturday afternoon. The men and women's basketball teams played exhibition games against Centenary, in an effort to raise money for the Rebuild Texas Relief Fund. All the proceeds from the game went directly to the fund.
The Patriots were victorious in both games. The women won 91-69, while the men dominated 86-57.
Both programs kick off their seasons in a couple weeks. The men open their season on the road against Texas Lutheran on November 16. The women start their season hosting Howard Payne on November 17.
