A Nacogdoches ISD school bus was involved in a wreck that sent two people to the hospital, neither of whom were students.

According to a press release on the school website, Bus No. 6 was rear-ended by a passenger car on Loop 224 at Appleby Springs Road near the high school.

All 20 students boarded another bus to the school and were examined by the school nurse. No injuries were reported.

Two people in the car were sent to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
NHS principal Michael O'Guin, assistant principal Igor Gusyakov along with Nacogdoches Fire, EMS and police responded to the scene.
