  • East Texas Prosthetic-Orthotic Care

  • Prosthetics is defined as "the branch of medicine dealing with the design, production, and use of artificial body parts."  A prosthesis is defined as "a device, either external or internal, that substitutes for or supplements a missing or defective part of the body".
  • Orthotics is defined as "the branch of medical engineering concerned with the design, manufacture, fitting and follow-up care for patients requiring an orthosis in the treatment of orthopedic, neurophysiological, or neuromuscular disorders".
  • Pedorthics is defined as "the design, manufacture, fitting, modification, and follow-up care for patients requiring shoes and related foot appliances, inserts, or build-up as prescribed for relief of painful or disabling conditions of the foot".
  • Since the beginning of our practice, ETPOC has excelled in providing orthotic treatment to children.  If your child suffers from Cerebral Palsy, developmental delay, a congenital neuromuscular condition, or had an accident requiring orthotic "bracing" needs, ETPOC can help.
