John Tyler H.S. Student to go Before Judge for Stabbing Death

The teenager accused of killing John Tyler High School teacher, Todd Henry, will appear before a judge Monday morning. 

The 16-year-old has a detention hearing at 8:30 monday morning at the Smith County Juvenile Attention Center with Judge Floyd getz.

Monday's hearing comes after the defendant signed a waiver for two detention hearings that were set for October 5th and 19th.

The juvenile is accused of stabbing Henry to death inside a John Tyler classroom on September 23rd.
