Update: Tyler FD contains fourth blaze in six weeks at Tyler building

Updated:

Tyler firefighters are searching for clues after the fourth fire in six weeks at a Tyler structure.

Tyler firefighters contained the fire that broke out in the vacant Texas Cooper Corporation building at 1401 WSW Loop 323 in Tyler about 5:20 am Monday morning. The building has been vacant since the first fire, approximately six weeks ago. The fire Monday morning caused extensive damage, according to the Tyler Fire Department.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but arson is suspected in all four cases.  Please call Tyler Fire Dept. at (903) 535-0005 or Tyler-Smith County Crimestopper's at 903-597-CUFF(2833) with any information. A reward of up to $1,000 dollars is being offered - and Tyler Fire wants to remind the public that you will remain anonymous if you call.
