CBS 19 - The Eye of East Texas News - 'Armed and dangerous' burglary suspect loose in Noonday area

The suspect is believed to be armed and should be considered dangerous, said Lt. Larry Wiginton.

 

Deputies responded to a burglary in the area of County Road 1100 and the Toll Loop 49. One of two men was taken into custody at the scene and the other escaped, Wiginton said.

A handgun was stolen in the burglary and may be in possession of the suspect who fled, Wiginton said.

Deputies and other law officers had converged on the area. A helicopter and dogs were being used in the search.
