A citizen called notifying police around 12:30 a.m. that she observed several Hispanic males looking into cars and checking car doors in the 7100 block of Waljim.  Police were able to locate the suspect vehicle a short time later at a convenience store.  Officers recovered numerous items that had been stolen from vehicles in the South Tyler area.  The suspects were identified as Calet Medina, age 18, of Tyler, Jesus Martinez, age 17, of Tyler and two Hispanic juveniles.

At around 5:00 a.m. Tyler police received another call from a witness that observed a B/M suspect using a flash light getting in and out of vehicles located at Meadowbrook Apartments at 4600 Paluxy. Upon officers' arrival they observed the suspect in the parking lot and found several items in his possession that were stolen from vehicles in the area.  The suspect was identified as Deaveron Dean, B/M, age 18 of Tyler.  Dean was taken into custody and charged with several counts of Auto Burglary.
