East Texas firefighters battle 10-acre Smith County blaze

CHAPEL HILL (Tyler Morning Telegraph) - Firefighters from several departments joined together Monday as they fought a grass fire off County Road 282 East on the edge of Smith County.

Chapel Hill Fire Department was dispatched to the scene first, and they quickly called for help from Troup and Whitehouse.
 
As the firefighters battled the 10-acre blaze, they were able to save multiple structures. No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.
