
DALLAS, TX (CBS) - At Dallas Love Field, flights come and go to many destinations.
For one lucky group this week, their destination was the North Pole.
On board, some families who could use a little holiday cheer.
"My husband died of Cancer the day after Thanksgiving," said Mrs. Hacker.
The Hacker children have fallen on rough times this year, but the Christmas cheer they still hold dear.
"It left us without a daddy for them,"explained Mrs. Hacker.
"Santa hats, pompoms, real reindeer and fake snowflakes.
Volunteers welcome guests, and a private jet awaits.
A quick flight to the North Pole where Santa and Mrs. Claus are waiting.
"I wrote for my baby sister so she can get as much help as she needs,"said Virgil Myers.
For little Tressy and her five siblings, for no pay The Dallas Stars private plane is dubbed "Jingle Jet", transporting five deserving families.
"Full flight crew and everything and we welcome them aboard and everything, and you know it's a quick flight because everything is magical in the North Pole."said Tony Zazza, Jingle Jet Founder.
After a boarded magic trip around the tarmac, the families enter the "North Pole" where the hackers, and each family's presents are stacked.
The third times a charm, but not the last.
Jingle Jet elves are looking forward to the future, while celebrating the jet's past.
"We're looking forward to many more magical years ahead,"said Mike Modano, Dallas Stars player.
"Some go through some hardships at this time of year, and we hope we can ease that a little bit,"explained Madono.
"This is the perfect gift,"said Claudia Budges, parent.
"Christmas wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for "Jingle Jet,"explained Budges.
