(KYTX) - Three Texas universities have made the Kiplinger's Personal Finance List of the "100 Best Values in Public Colleges for 2010."

The University of Texas at Austin ranks 25th, Texas A&M is 30th, and U.T.-Dallas is 80th.  Number one on the list is the University of North Carolina.

The schools were chosen from more than 500 four-year colleges and universities.

The ranking factors include admission and retention rates, cost, financial aid, student-faculty ratios, and four- and six-year graduation rates.
