TYLER (KYTX) - Coffee fanatics got quite the treat Friday and Saturday at Cafe Tazza in Tyler. A champion barista has been in town whipping up your cup of java.
Clancy Rose is a barista extrodinaire, putting pride and perfection into every cup he makes.
While he may be an expert behind the espresso machine, his love for coffee hasn't always been so refined.
"I got turned on to coffee, not great coffee, I thought it probably was, when I was a kid drinking coffee with my grandfather on the farm, and drank coffee all the way through high school.I was always passionate about coffee, but I didn't know what good coffee was," Rose explained.
Rose still competes as a barista, But he's now a full-time roaster with central Texas coffee company Cuvee Coffee, which delivers fresh bags of beans weekly to this Tyler cafe.
