The economy may be bad, but that didn't stop a rare copy of the first comic book featuring Superman from selling for an incredible one-million-dollars.
The sale was conducted by the auction site Comicconnect.com.
The 1938 edition of action comics number one originally sold for ten cents.
The names of the seller and buyer were not released.
The previous comic book record was set last year when a buyer paid $317-thousand for the same action comics number one issue.
This copy sold for so much more because it was in better condition.
