- 1-750 ml bottle sparkling wine
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 2 cups frozen mixed berries, thawed
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Several drops of black food coloring
- 1 cup red grapes, halved & frozen
Place berries in a large bowl or pitcher. Pour the brandy over the fruit. Mash together with a large wooden spoon. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
In a small bowl combine the sugar and add the black food coloring. Stir the sugar until it is black. Spread the sugar onto a small plate. Wet the rim of your glasses and dip into the sugar.
Strain the berries through a mesh sieve into a pitcher. Add the sparkling wine. Pour the brew into prepared glasses and add a few frozen grapes.
