Starbucks released a new blended beverage that is taking over Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
This time it has a holiday twist.
The Christmas Tree Frappuccino was released just in time for the Christmas season.
The sweet drink is made to look like a Christmas tree, but tastes more like a peppermint mocha.
The frapp is covered with a green matcha whipped cream to represent a tree. The whipped cream is then decorated with caramel drizzle for garland, candied cranberry ornaments and a strawberry as the tree topper.
The Frappuccino is just a sweet snack treat, it does not have any coffee in it.
The barista we talked to said out of all the weird mixed drinks the company has come up with, this one was her favorite. It wasn’t a sugar loaded colorful Unicorn Frappuccino or Zombie Frap, but it was still a minty sweet mix.
It was also a little weird to have something taste like Christmas and be blended with ice. In the winter a warm themed beverage might fit the holiday theme a little better. It was a fun looking holiday drink with a minty sweetness to it.
