Donations needed for new library in Bullard

Staff at Bullard Community Library are accepting donations for a new library building.

Plans to build a new library in Bullard are on hold until staff can raise enough money to cover construction costs.

Bullard Community Library director Debbie Willbanks said that the library has outgrown it's current facility, forcing staff to take old books off of shelves to make room for new ones.

Willbanks said that plans to build a new 10,000 square foot facility have been drawn up but will need the community support to get them across the finish line.

Donations can be made in-person at Bullard Community Library located at 211 W. Main St. in Bullard.
